Leading Peruvian architect Jordi Puig created the 45-meter Aria and sister ship Aqua to give adventurous sightseers a way of exploring the Peruvian Amazon in luxurious comfort. The Aria's 16 suites are decked out with polished timber flooring and a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows looking out onto the glistening waters of the Amazon.
When you're not embarking on one of the organized activities and excursions, relax in the boat's lounge, offering a well-stocked bar at one end and a library at the other, or head up to the open-air observation deck to spot pink river dolphins from the comfort of a bubbling Jacuzzi.
Aria's dining room serves an ever-changing menu of Amazon-influenced dishes. Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, one of Latin America's most acclaimed chefs, often delves deep into the jungle to source sustainable ingredients to inspire his next culinary creations.
