Casa Gangotena

Overlooking Plaza San Francisco, 31 rooms are dotted across the newly restored mansion which houses Casa Gangotena. All guestrooms have grand features, from tall ceilings and towering window frames to luxurious carpets and Art-Deco furniture.

The hotel offers plenty of places to relax, from its glass patio, its floral-scented gardens and its inspiring wood-paneled library. You can also head to the 3rd-floor terrace for lovely panoramic views.

Offering all-day dining options, Casa Gangotena's restaurant specializes in traditional Ecuadorian cuisine. The daily-changing lunch menu is built from traditional family recipes, providing a culinary journey of Ecuador. At dinner, the restaurant dresses up with fine tablecloths and prepares inventive regional dishes from local produce. Afternoon tea is also on offer, serving sandwiches, sweet treats and delicious teas made from herbs grown in the hotel gardens.
